In 2017, I began traveling alongside Karun. Moving from the northern head spring towards the south of the river, I observed how the water lost its transparency and freshness due to increasing human-caused contamination along the way. Therefore, I decided to use a medium-format film camera for photography. I used water from specific spots where the landscape or portrait was taken to develop the negatives. The varying quality or level of pollution created random and unpredictable visual effects on the resulting images when mixed with other chemicals.
